Can I play spec ops on Modern Warfare 2 remastered? We'd love to see the likes of Favela, Highrise and Terminal remastered down the road even if a complete MW2 multiplayer never comes. Backlot is expected to join Rust in that regard when the Season 3 DLC becomes available. There are remastered MW2 maps already in the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" game.
It's possible (though perhaps unlikely) that a multiplayer update could be unveiled later.
That's somewhat of a shame - despite the frustrations of noob tubes and final stand, the game's pace, helter-skelter style and sheer power available to players compared to previous editions of the franchise made it a classic.
